What lies ahead.

Good evening y'all.

Been meaning to update for the longest time but I havent had time or perhaps I was too tired to switch on my laptop.

Dad got an i-touch recently, so I've been meddling with it for abit. And that reminds me that i need a new mobile phone. GAH. For all the good reason okay. I must learn never to get a fashion phone. -.-

So anyhow, been spending my weeks out on investigative journalism and loitering around murder scenes all for work. Which has been quite an experience. From Geylang to Yishun. It's relatively quite exhilarating you know? I didn't get to see dead bodies though. A little disappointed but maybe I would change my mind after seeing them.

It's great being a journalist. And speaking of which, I've 2 hot DHL air balloon ride tickets! Need to find time to go, maybe during the F1 night race. :D

All the freebies you can get, just for media coverage.

Awesome. One thing that keeps me going.

I'm left with 4 more days now. Well, from Monday to Thursday. Am on off on Friday but will be heading back to work to distribute my love to all. HAH. I just put myself into deep shit. Baking for an entire newsroom is going to be a nightmare. But then again, I brought it upon myself.

Shrugs.

I love challenges, so it's not too bad.

Alright now, just some updates.

Lynnette's birthday celebration

I made the poor birthday girl wait for so long due to some afternoon event I had to cover.

But all's good since we had fun during dinner and post-dinner/starbucks camwhoring session.

To keep it short,

Nette darling,

Happy Birthday! It's been a blessing to be your friend. And remember, laughter is God's sunshine.

Love always.

Happy birthday, nette (: )

Dinner with Henry

I met up with henry recently for dinner at Fish & Co. Haven't seen him for ages! Dinner was good, live band was around so it was double the fun (:

Congratulations love, for getting into ocs. I'm sure you'll do fine!

Just remember to invite me as your dinner date after you're done with the awfully long training! HAHA!

Media Preview of Singapore River Festival

Went for a photography exhibition last week before heading off to the SRF media preview.

It was a small function at the Art House. Really cosy and all. Great photography from a kid my age. Imagine that. Really admire her. Pictures up on fb if you wanna see.

SRF was not too bad. Didn't get to eat the chicken wings which I was eyeing. The waiter/waitresses kept running away from me! I had one pathetic piece of eclairs in the end. Ohwell.

The highlight of the event was the amazing boat ride that we went for!

Thanks to Jason of course. It's great to attend media previews for fun rather than for work (because I'd have to rush back to the office to file a report).

So we experienced two boat rides, one small cushion-y boat for business purposes and the bump boat (is that what it's called? the traditional one). What's best was that we had satay to keep us company during our boat ride! AWESOME.

Ahhhhh, the perks of being in the media. What luxury. I like.

What luxury. )

Nick's farewell & Shereena's birthday at Holland V /Michael's pre-birthday party at MOS

Yesterday was amazing. No pictures though. Okay, maybe one or two in mel/jason's camera.

It was just a little get together and then dancing all night long.

Retro room was great (except the few times when weird songs came up).

I should go back to dancing full time.

Quite surprising that my feet didn't ache when I got up today, after dancing on insane-ly 3inch or so heels yesterday.

Okay that's about it.

Oh yes! I went for ice-skating the other day. Good sport. Of which, my colleagues and his friends were talking about their mt kinabalu expedition.

And yeah, I'm giving it serious thought. Probably head out for the expedition myself, next April (: Any takers?
