Work, Life, Relationships.
So here I am. Trying to get away from the shitload of report I have to do. You know, I've been staring, and staring, and staring. And if I stare any more than I already have, I'm gonna have cocked eyes or something. Seriously.
I've no idea where to start. First things first, I typed out all the headings, and when I reach page 12 (OMG, 12? Like whoever had the time to come up with so many pages of guidelines?!) it's as though I just stepped into a whole new world again. It went back to No. 1 Accounting. WHOAT?! I thought No. 1 was PURPOSE?!
Like o.O
So now it's accounting? Is it? Or is it still purpose? WHAT THE HELL IS IT? So where do I start?! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!
Okay, think. brain. think.
Brain says: fails to function. EJECT. EJECT.
And I hate those 'IF' questions. 'IF' means it didn't happen. So if it didn't happen, THEN WHY MUST I ANSWER?!
RIght? No? RIGHT. Am so right. But still have to do it anyway. crap.
Let's not talk about this report or whatever it's called. Such horrible assignment, I'd rather work.
ANYWAY,
I've finally completed reading Marian Keyes: This Charming Man. The book so thick, I never thought I could finish reading it.
But it's good. Stayed up til 2AM, reading it for hours and finally completed the last few parts this afternoon.
-PAUSE-
Need to finish it before I get started on my report you know? And how did I manage to finally get my arse off bed and start doing something about my report? Well, I had a dream. An awful one. About not being able to submit my report on time, and it wasn't even done up properly. HAHAHAHA. Who on earth have dreams like this? Okay, me.
-BACK FROM INTERVAL-
So, the book talks about one charming man (not so charming after all) and how he's connected to four very different women. He's a politician who's running for the current Ireland elections.
The story reveals the lives of this four different women,
1. Lola, a stylist trying to get over the man of her dreams, the love of her life who just well, ditched her.
2. Grace, a journalist who's the power woman of the lot
3. Marnie, Grace's twin sister. The alcoholic who refuses to admit that she is one. And her self esteem is so low, even I want to punch her face sometimes. Makes me just want to flip over her part of the story because I just can't stand how crazy she is.
4. Alicia. B.I.T.C.H. That spells it all.
This four women have to eventually face one truth about this charming young man. A certain paddy de courcy.
You should read it. Kinda like reality; what these characters have to go through. Work, life, relationships.
